My name is Meredith, and I’m taking fitness seriously again after a few years of drama. I got very into running last year and run several races, but last fall I developed a huge tear in one of my retinas (you know, the part of your eye, not the screen on your Apple) and was sidelined from running for almost three months.

Running at 44 is not the same experience as it was at, say, 24. I have to take nutrition seriously too, to alleviate some joint pain I’m having as well.

I’m telling myself this is going to be a great experience, on top of work, husband, child, pets, house …. you know….

But I’m fittin’ this run in ….
